Men, soon we will again come together to eat meat, have fun, worship, and get challenged to follow Christ! Join us Friday, June 16 for our Brisket Bash. Longtime friend and Riverwood ministry partner Zulmai Woodod will share his amazing personal journey, a very compelling account of suffering as a boy in the Russian invasion of Afghanistan; walking barefoot through the dangerous mountain passes to escape to Pakistan; as a four year old helping his family by carrying two buckets of water hung to a pole across his shoulders for two miles, one way. Many know this dear brother but do not know his story including how he came to faith in Christ. (Note: we will reschedule with Jeff Warner at a later date.)
