Afghan Culture 101 Training
Thursday, May 26th
7:00-9:00PM

In the last 9 months we have seen the Afghan population of the Twin Cities grow from around 300 to ± 2000! We are meeting many Afghans both Sunni- and Shia-background representing numerous ethnic groups who in a matter of days and sometimes hours fled their homeland. They are now trying their best to make their way in a new home with a very different culture. Serving, blessing, discipling this new diaspora community is just one more incredible opportunity for the church to lean into a Great Commission lifestyle — making disciples of all nations/people groups.

On Thursday May 26th from 7:00-9:00pm we have scheduled a two hour presentation on Afghan culture to help folks step into relationships with these new “ends of the earth” neighbors with compassion, confidence and wisdom. John Weaver and Steve Moses, two brothers who have a wealth of experience and love for the Afghan community, will be our presenters. This ZOOM gathering which will include plenty of time for Q and A is FREE, but you must preregister.
